92%
The way I see it, 92% of the world... (am not taking into account "poor" people)
-
go by established norms of behavior, without questioning them (or only
weakly questioning them and thinking "what else can I do?"),
- end up living comfortable, yet meaningless lives,
- pretend to be happy in the presence of those who seem to have it all...
The worst end up dead from an overdose of cocaine. The "best" find some solace in the occasional bursts of romance in their relationships, the dying moments of ecstasy in their sex lives, the hours of exhilaration of a wild drunken party, some appreciative words at the office or the first steps of the child for whom they have already crafted the destiny. They are those who claim to have found "love", and who will tell you they are "happy" then silently doubt it in the secrecy of their minds the very second they uttered those very words.
7%
of the remaining, 7% rebel against life, always questioning, always wanting to learn, always trying to find a different angle to look at things. They do not want to comply. They do not want to be like ants or robots. They want to know what it is to be fully human; they want to explore their full creative potential. They want to be different. They want to revel in mind blowing human interactions. When they indulge in sex, they want it to be out of this world. When they enter relationships, they want it to be forever passionate. When they work, they want their soul to soar.
Yet most of them end up being secluded in a way or the other because of a lack of focus, patience or lack of total security and self-love. A part of them is controlled by doubt and that is the final frontier between them and peace.
1%
The remaining 1% are the enlightened ones. They are those who differentiate themselves peacefully. Those who gaze at the world with a heart pouring with love. Those who feel completely secure in their beliefs, thoughts, knowledge, in the brilliance of their light. They nourish their relationships and are nourished by them. They empower other people, but never draw energy from them. They work, walk, breathe, touch, think and feel with the purest of intentions. They feel special, but are never arrogant.
They do not need to persuade you of anything, but will always offer guidance if you request it. They do not need to convince you of their happiness as it captures your heart the minute you step into the warm glow of their aura. They are addicted to nothing but the flow of love. They are drama-free. They are need-free. They are the beacons of humanity.
....as
with all categories, there are always those who do not fit squarely in
one or the other. There are also those who are transiting from one to
another. There is no "good" or "bad" category,
no one is better, no one is worse. Darkness isn't worse than light as
without darkness, light would have no meaning in itself. It is ALL
about how you feel and if the way you feel doesn't fit into the
highest image you hold about yourself, then know that you do hold the
power to alter that. It is not easy, I can testify to that but even in
my own moments of deepest sorrow, I know I can still love and that the
light can pierce the dark veil at any time...
